Waxing + Sugaring + Threading
Hard Wax
Hard wax is a type of wax that is gentler on the skin because it envelopes the hair and hardens and removes on its own, eliminating the need for paper strips. No sticky mess or residue is left on the skin. At KBA, we use Waxness professional hardwax.
Sugaring
Sugaring works to remove the actual hair by the root without disturbing the surrounding skin. Karen Barbalace Aesthetics uses Sweet & True Sugaring professional products, a food grade combination of Saccharum Officinarum L. (Non-GMO Cane Sugar), Distilled Water, Citric Acid (Non-GMO), Organic Citrus Limon (Organic Lemon Juice) results in a smoother finish, along with slow grow back and fewer uncomfortable, ingrown hairs make an even bigger impact. We use products that are biodegradable, water soluble, and environmentally friendly!
Threading
The threading process is quite simple and typically involves a single piece of cotton thread. The thread is twisted and pulled along areas of unwanted hair lifting the hair directly from the root without unnecessary tugging on the skin.
